‍General Information 

‍Choob - Addi Express - A thick and insulating sideways-constructed hat, made out of knitted tubes using the Addi Express Professional (22 pin) knitting machine. A small amount of hand knitting is done to create the ribbing trims using circular needles.

‍Tools

‍Addi Express Professional (22 pin), 4.5mm (US7) circular needle of 80cm (32”) or longer and 1 spare needle (circular or straight) of same size for a 3-Needle Bind Off. 1 stitch marker, row counter (if necessary), scissors, measuring tape and a yarn needle.

‍Yarn Type & Quantity

‍DK or Worsted weight yarns work best here. Example yarn: Malabrigo Rios - 100% Merino, 210yds, 100g.  2 x 100g (approx 220yds each) skeins.

‍Notions: 4 x 0.75” (20mm) buttons.

‍One size - customised to fit.

‍Gauge

‍Gauge in Stockinette stitch on the Addi is 15 sts by 22 rows over 4” (10cm) square (unblocked).
