Home | My Patterns | Shawls, Scarves & Neckwear | Giant Steps Shawl
Giant Steps is a 2-colour scarf/wrap or shawl that is knitted from end to end. It features simple intarsia-style colour-work with easy cable & lace patterning and funky fringes.
It is a versatile pattern that can be worked using any weight of yarn. It features a basic method of intarsia colour-work, that allows different yarn colours to run side by side. The beauty of this is that there is no carrying up separate yarn bobbins and no cutting and weaving-in lots of ends.
Gauge is not important, as it is freeform knitting.

Cable needle, weighing scales and foam mats and pins etc. for blocking.
