General Information 

LongStuff - A long and narrow shawl, made using 2 or more colours of yarn. It is knitted from the bottom-up with meandering short row stripes that build up as you go. The edging is picked up and knitted to form a neat border. Go as creative as you like with colour!

Finished Measurements

Width: 92.5” (235 cm ) approx. Depth: 22” (56 cm) approx.

Example Yarn & Quantity

Currel Sport by Meadowyarn (100% Wool - Peruvian Highland - non superwash), 328 yds (300 m) per 100g).

Colour 1 (C1): 1.5 skeins - 492 yds (450 m).

Colour 2 (C2): 1 skein - 328 yds (300 m).

Colour 3 (C3): 0.6 skeins - 197 yds (180 m).

Tools

4 mm (US 6) (or size required to get gauge) and 4.5 mm (US 7) 80 cm (32”) or longer circular needles; 3 stitch markers: 2 markers in different colours and 1 lockable marker to mark a stitch; Tapestry needle & Measuring tape.

Gauge

19 sts by 46 rows (23 garter ridges) = 4” (10 cm) in Garter Stitch, using larger size needle, blocked.
