General Information 

Inspired by my Mini Cooper named “Maxine”.

I’ve drawn inspiration from the shapes and features all over the car to create this cardi. It is knitted seamlessly in a set-in sleeve style construction from the top-down, with stranded colour-work of 5 colours on the sleeves and 2 colours on the neckline. Patch pockets are applied using your colourwork tension swatch!

Yarn

Methera Fingering (65% Cheviot, 20% Bluefaced Leicester, 10% Shetland, 5% Zwartbles) by Northern Yarn, 383 yds (350 m) 100g.

Yarn Colour Breakdown:

XS: MC= 3 skeins, CC1 to CC5: 0.5skein each.

S: MC= 3 skeins, CC1 to CC5: 0.5 skein each.

M: MC= 4 skeins, CC1 to CC5: 0.5 skein each.

L: MC= 4 skeins, CC1 to CC5: 0.5 skein each.

1XL: MC= 5 skeins, CC1: 1 skein; CC2 to CC5: 0.5 skein each.

2XL: MC= 5 skeins, CC1: 1 skein; CC2 to CC5: 0.5 skein each.

3XL: MC= 5 skeins, CC1: 1 skein; CC2: 1 skein; CC3 to CC5: 0.5 skein each.

Fitting

Finished size at bust: 33.25” (84.5 cm) / 37.75” (95.5 cm) / 42” (107 cm) / 45.75” (116.5 cm) / 50.25” (127.5 cm) / 54” (137 cm) / 57.75” (147 cm). Ease at bust (approx.): 3” to 4” (8 cm to 10 cm) from smaller to larger sizes.
