General Information

Mella Cardigan is inspired by the crackle-effect of the flat beds of salt lakes. It is a raglan sleeve construction and is worked seamlessly from the top down. It features a method of forming lengthened purl stitches that I called “Grab Stitch”.

Grab Stitch ‘tuck’ style patterning adorn the front and back of this classic cardigan, knit in the round from the top down. Smooth stockinette on the sleeves provides textural contrast and ease of knitting.
