General Information 

Offside Cowl Offside is a practical cowl to keep your neck snugly warm while you are keeping active! It is knitted in the round with yarn colours held double stranded, giving it a marled effect and with graduating colour changes along the way.

This cowl is knitted in the round from the bottom up. Yarn colours are held double stranded by knitting two different colours together for a few rounds, giving the cowl a graduated and marled effect. Meanwhile, the travelling 1 by 1 cable patterning adorns half the circumference of the cowl.

Left over yarn from this project will make the matching Offside Mitts.

Finished Measurements & Yarn Colours

Width: 11.5” (29 cm) approx. Height: 12.25” (31 cm) approx. Yarn colours are held double throughout. C1: Black, C2: Charcoal, C3: Teal Blue, C4: Light Grey, C5: Light Blue.

4.5 mm (US 7) (or size required to get gauge) & 4.0 mm (US 6) 80 cm (32”) or longer circular needles, 2 Stitch markers; Tapestry needle & measuring tape; Optional: cable needle.
