General Information 

Polesden Lacy has a nostalgic style with a modern twist. It’s a blouson style cardigan with slimline sleeves, made using a DK/Worsted weight yarn base and a contrast colour lace overlay in 4ply/Fingering weight yarn. It is worked flat, from the top-down for the upper half. It is then joined together to work seamlessly down to the hemline, allowing you to adjust for your desired length.

DK weight yarn - XS: 1017yds (930m) / S: 1181yds (1080m) / M: 1312yds (1200m) / L: 1443yds (1320m) / 1XL: 1640yds (1500m) / 2XL: 1738yds (1590m) / 3XL: 1902yds (1740m).

Suggested yarns: The Plucky Knitter - Primo Worsted (75% Merino / 20% Cashmere / 5% Nylon) 200yds 100g; or Merino DK by Wollmeise (100% Merino) 468yds 200g.

Fingering weight yarn - XS: 208yds (191m) / S: 251yds (230m) / M: 298yds (273m) / L: 328yds (300m) / 1XL: 371yds (340m) / 2XL: 417yds (382m) / 3XL: 447yds (409m).

Suggested yarns: The Plucky Knitter - Primo Fingering (75% Merino / 20% Cashmere / 5% Nylon) 385yds 100g; or “Pure” 4Ply by Wollmeise (100% Merino), 575yds 150g.

To fit sizes: XS (30”) / S (34”) / M (38”) / L (42”) / 1XL (46”) / 2XL (50”) / 3XL (54”) The garment is designed to fit comfortably with 1” to 1.5” (2.5cm - 3.5cm) of ease.
